Week 5: Resting Poses

Benefits: Relaxes the entire body.

How To Do It: Lay on your back with palms facing the heavens in a giving and receiving motion. Close the eyes, slowly scanning the body with your mind. Breath here for 5 full rounds of breath.

When To Do It: In the morning and evening to drop into a meditative state. Incorporate this pose at the beginning and end of your yoga practice to enjoy the meditative benefits.
